Verified agent badge on every listing you post
Your CEA registration is checked against your government identity, then reviewed by our team. Approved agents carry a black tick on every listing and on their public profile.
Buyers in Singapore have learned to be sceptical. Duplicate listings, prices that move the moment you call, profiles with no traceable licence. The verified badge exists so that the first thing a buyer sees on your listing is proof that you are a real, licensed, accountable person.
What we actually check
Verification runs in two independent halves. First, you complete a one-time government identity verification, which returns your legal name straight from the national record. Second, you submit your CEA registration number and agency details, which our team checks against the CEA public register and the name we received from identity verification.
Both halves must pass. A CEA number alone is not enough, and an identity check alone is not enough. Only when the licence and the person behind it match does your account become verified.
Where the badge appears
- Next to your name on every active listing you publish
- On your public agent profile page, which you can share as a digital business card
- In the agent directory, so buyers browsing by town or specialisation can filter for verified agents
- In buyer conversations, so the person messaging you knows who they are talking to
Your public profile
Every verified agent gets a public profile page showing your photo, agency, CEA registration number with a direct link to the CEA public register, the towns you cover, the languages you speak and all your live listings in one place. Sellers can check you out before they agree to meet, which shortens the trust conversation considerably.
Common questions
- How long does verification take?
- Identity verification is instant. The CEA check is reviewed manually by our team, usually within one business day. You can build listings while the review is in progress.
- What happens when my CEA registration expires?
- SOLO tracks your registration expiry. If it lapses at the end of the registration year, your listings are paused rather than deleted, and they go live again once you update your renewal details.
- Does SOLO act as the estate agent?
- No. SOLO is a technology platform, not a licensed estate agent. The agency relationship stays entirely between you and your client.
