Resale flats across all 26 towns
HDB Flats for Sale in Singapore
HDB resale flats are how most households in Singapore buy their home. SOLO lists flats across all 26 towns, from two-room units to executive maisonettes, with the flat type, remaining lease, floor range, and ethnic integration eligibility shown on every listing so you can rule a flat in or out before you visit. Sellers verify their identity through government identity verification and ownership is checked against official records, so the flat you enquire about is genuinely for sale. Book a viewing directly, then follow the resale process step by step inside the platform.

Buying an HDB resale flat
Start with your HDB Flat Eligibility letter. The HFE letter confirms your eligibility to buy a resale flat, the CPF housing grants you qualify for, and your HDB loan eligibility. It is valid for nine months and you need it before you can be granted an Option to Purchase, so it is worth applying early.
Every block is subject to the Ethnic Integration Policy and the Singapore Permanent Resident quota. If the quota for your ethnic group is already met in that block or neighbourhood, the seller cannot sell to you regardless of price. SOLO shows the eligibility position on each listing so this does not surprise you late in the process.
Check the remaining lease. A flat with a shorter remaining lease affects how much CPF you may use and the maximum loan tenure, and matters more if you are buying later in life. The listing shows the lease commencement year and the remaining lease.
The seller must also have completed the five-year minimum occupation period before the flat can be sold. Once you agree on price, the Option to Purchase, HDB resale application, and completion follow a fixed sequence. Our HDB resale process guide walks through each stage with the current timelines.

Common questions
What is an HFE letter and do I need one?
The HDB Flat Eligibility letter confirms whether you can buy a resale flat, which CPF housing grants you qualify for, and your HDB loan eligibility. You need a valid HFE letter before a seller can grant you the Option to Purchase. It stays valid for nine months.
What is the Ethnic Integration Policy?
The EIP sets ethnic proportions for each HDB block and neighbourhood so estates stay racially balanced. If your ethnic group has reached the limit in a block, the seller cannot sell that flat to you. SOLO shows which groups a flat can currently be sold to.
What is the minimum occupation period?
Most flat owners must physically occupy their flat for five years before they may sell it on the resale market. Listings on SOLO indicate whether the MOP has been completed.
Can I buy an HDB flat without an agent?
Yes. Many SOLO sellers list their own flat and deal with buyers directly. You may still appoint your own CEA-licensed agent if you prefer representation. SOLO is a technology platform, not a licensed estate agent.
